Introduction


This blog is not for those seeking the latest bells and whistles, or those who must have the fastest computer available. This blog is for those who don’t have a lot of money, and want to make the buck stretch as far as possible. We are going to look at take machines that are being given away or sold for cheap, and turn them into a useable computer.  Just as important, we are going to discuss what not to get. Those pieces of hardware that really belong in a junk bin. We are going to do this using Linux as an operating system. If you don’t know Linux, we will tell you were to learn about Linux. It is going to be a step-by-step process. So, get ready for some fun.
